Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga has officially announced that he is leaving the club ahead of a move to Nottingham Forest.
Forest launched a £15 million bid to sign the Sweden international, who had struggled for game time under Erik ten Hag during the second half of last season.
He made 26 appearances, but the majority of those were from the bench and his only start of 2023 came in a EFL Cup win over Charlton in January.
Elanga attracted interest from both Forest and Everton, but he reportedly rejected a move to the Toffees over tactical concerns.
The 21-year-old chose Forest instead, and had a medical at the club on Sunday ahead of his proposed move. Elanga sent an emotional farewell message to United fans prior to the deal officially being confirmed by Forest.
