An £18m Unai Emery signing is now ‘considering’ an Aston Villa exit this summer transfer window, according to a recent report.
Villa ended the Premier League campaign in fourth, thus qualifying for the illustrious Champions League.
Now, Emery and his club chiefs will be drawing up their transfer business as they look to bolster the squad ahead of a congested fixture list.
Though, like all clubs, they’ll need to move players on to stay in line with Profit and Sustainability regulations.
That said, one player could leave Villa Park this summer.

Jhon Duran’s agent looking at options away from Aston Villa
It has just emerged, that Jhon Duran’s agent is considering options away from Aston Villa this summer transfer window and has confirmed interest from Chelsea, according to Canalrcn.
“Chelsea’s interest has always existed. The fact that Pochettino continues at the club or not does not affect, since the interest comes from the club itself,” Jonathan Herrera said.
“Let’s see what management can give it and that Aston Villa is willing to negotiate.”
Herrera and his client Duran are evidently looking to move on from the West Midlanders this summer and he admitted that Villa are open to that idea.

Jhon Duran still has so much to offer Aston Villa
Since arriving from Chicago Fire in an £18m deal in January 2023, Duran has made just three league starts.
Though, even in the limited game time he’s had, the Columbia international looks like a real talent with an eye for a goal.
Such is why Chelsea are interested and if Emery do allow him to depart, they could be making a big mistake – just as they did with Jaden Philogene.
