Jude Bellingham is one of several Real Madrid players that have yet to return to pre-season training, following the conclusion of his involvement with England at Euro 2024. The 21-year-old midfield superstar has been spotted enjoying his time off in Los Angeles – and he was joined by an interesting face: Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold are very close friends, and last summer, they could be united at club level when Liverpool tried to sign the former from Borussia Dortmund. In the end, Bellingham headed to Real Madrid, and it could be that the pair end up being teammates there instead.
Alexander-Arnold has been strongly linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks, and he could join in 2025 as a free agent – his Liverpool contract expires at the end of the upcoming season.
The video cannot be read too much into, although it will be interesting to see how Alexander-Arnold’s situation plays out over the coming months. Liverpool are desperate to agree a new contract, but if that does not happen, Real Madrid will be waiting in the wings.
