Real Madrid and Manchester United Compete To Sign Inter Defender

Inter Milan defender Federico DiMarco has been linked with a move to Spanish club Real Madrid in this summer transfer window.

Los Blancos (the whites) are keen on a deal for the 25-year-old whose contract at Inter Milan runs till June 2026.

Inter Milan are to sell at least one of their players to balance the books despite reaching the  2022/2023 UEFA Champions League final where they faced  Manchester City and lost 1-0 to the Cityzens at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul on Saturday, June 10.

DiMarco has also been linked to Premier League club, Manchester United, this summer.

According to reports, both clubs have made enquiries concerning the Italian international.

DiMarco netted six goals and made ten assists in 50 matches across all competitions for the Nerazurri in the 2022/2023 season.

Inter Milan finished third in the Serie A with 72 points from 38 matches.

Real Madrid finished the 2022/23 Laliga season in second place with 78 points after 38 league games.
