Over the last 12-18 months, Estevao Willian’s name has popped up alongside some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Barcelona, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain – to name a few – have been linked with the Palmeiras youngster, whom is regarded in Brazil as one of the brightest talents across the world.
Estevao is tipped to be the next big breakthrough star from South America, following in the footsteps of current teammate Endrick Felipe, who will finally make his move to Real Madrid in the summer.
Barcelona are continuing to monitor his situation, but they may end up being pipped to his signature. That’s because Chelsea are preparing to make a €55m offer to sign the 17-year-old attacker, as reported by UOU (via MD).
Last year, Estevao admitted that his dream is to play for Barcelona, although it’s far from certain that he will end up in Catalonia. They have cooled their interest in recent months because of Lamine Yamal’s resurgence, and with Chelsea heating up, the teenager looks to be moving away.
