Strasbourg Secures Chelsea Midfield Talent on Loan

Chelsea’s midfielder Andrey Santos is set to join Strasbourg on loan for the remainder of the season, following a stint at Nottingham Forest that was cut short due to limited playing time.

The 19-year-old, currently leading Brazil’s Under-23s, will spend the final months in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg, a club owned by Chelsea’s BlueCo owners as part of their multi-club strategy.

Santos, signed in January 2023, was part of Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-season but will continue his development in France. Cesare Casadei, the Italian midfielder, is staying at Chelsea after being recalled from Leicester City.
