Although open to a January move, Bayern values him as a crucial squad member even after the addition of Harry Kane.

While Ajax’s Brobbey has been mentioned as a potential target for Erik ten Hag, United is currently leaning towards a different type of striker for a summer transfer, as confirmed by sources.

Despite Brobbey’s impressive 11-goal performance in 17 Eredivisie games this season, Manchester United is cautious about considering him as a lead striker with a 15+ goal requirement.

The Dutchman’s track record of 13 goals in 32 games last season, coupled with a goalless streak in 14 outings for RB Leipzig, adds an element of risk.
