Hannibal Mejbri Joins Sevilla on Loan from Manchester United

Manchester United has officially announced that young midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has joined La Liga side Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season.

Hannibal, who withdrew from Tunisia’s Africa Cup of Nations squad to secure his next club move, was previously of interest to Premier League side Everton before opting for a move to Spain.

There is an option for the loan to become a permanent deal, valued at £17.2 million according to BBC Sport.

Hannibal has participated in ten matches across all competitions for Man Utd this season, with his latest appearance in their 2-0 FA Cup third-round victory over Wigan Athletic.

Notably, he was not part of the squad in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Red Devils have reportedly included a fixed buy-back clause and a sell-on clause for the 20-year-old, as mentioned by The Athletic.
