Fofana, who spent the initial part of the season on loan at Bundesliga’s Union Berlin, has seen Chelsea curtail his loan at Union due to limited starting opportunities and a modest goal tally of two in 17 appearances across all competitions.

In the midst of Burnley’s efforts, Chelsea’s head coach Mauricio Pochettino has acknowledged the potential signing of a new striker to address the void left by Christopher Nkunku’s extended absence due to a hip problem.
Pochettino shared his concern, stating, “It’s true that now in the next few days, we are going to see the situation.
I am a little worried. We need to be very clinical to take some decisions to think and see how we fix the problem.
