Scotland left-back Kieran Tierney, who joined Sociedad on a season-long deal after losing his place at Arsenal to Oleksandr Zinchenko, faces increased demand for a return following Zinchenko’s calf injury.

While manager Mikel Arteta improvised with centre-back Jakub Kiwior and right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu, fans are urging Tierney’s recall to fortify the squad.

Addressing the speculation with Noticias de Gipuzkoa, Tierney asserted his commitment to staying with Sociedad through January, expressing gratitude to Arsenal fans for their unwavering support during his four-year tenure.

Tierney’s Sociedad loan lacks a permanent transfer option, ensuring his return to Arsenal in the summer with two years left on his contract.
