Nottingham Forest Out-of-Favor Striker Linked with Potential Rangers Move

Nottingham Forest and Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis, is reportedly being considered for a potential move to Rangers, joining his compatriot Cyriel Dessers.

Dennis, 26, joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2022 from Watford but has struggled for regular playtime, leading to a loan spell at Istanbul Basaksehir. The Nigerian forward’s loan could be cut short, opening the door for a move to Rangers.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement is reportedly keen on securing the services of Emmanuel Dennis, the former Club Brugge striker currently with Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham could potentially ask for £20 million for the Nigerian striker. Clement and Dennis previously collaborated in the Belgian Pro League, where Dennis notably celebrated with the Cristiano Ronaldo pose at the Santiago Bernabeu after scoring against Real Madrid.

With Fabio Silva and Cyriel Dessers already in the Rangers squad, the Scottish champions are looking to strengthen their team, and Clement has spoken highly of Dennis after their recent game.

“You never know in advance which players will explode, Dennis is someone who is unpredictable, even for the opponent,” the coach said after Rangers’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock.

Emmanuel Dennis was part of Jose Peseiro’s initial 40-man provisional squad list but did not make the final cut of 25 players.
