Chelsea, initially without any shirt sponsorship deals this season, secured a £40 million agreement with Infinite Athlete for shirt front branding.
Despite a previous setback with sleeve sponsor WhaleFin, which terminated a £20 million deal last season, Chelsea has reportedly inked a new £10 million deal with BingX for shirt sleeves sponsorship.
The BingX logo is set to adorn the sleeves for the remainder of the season, and starting next season, it will become the primary sponsor for Chelsea’s training kits, displacing Trivago.
Furthermore, Infinite Athlete will transition to the sleeves of the training kits at the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
In their quest to enhance sponsorship revenue, Chelsea strategically postponed selecting a front-of-shirt sponsor this season, awaiting optimal financial offers.
Ongoing discussions involve potential main sponsors, with Riyadh Air, a Saudi Arabian airline, among those engaging in talks with Chelsea for future collaborations.Recent reports indicate Chelsea’s ambition to secure a groundbreaking £60 million per season deal, aiming to establish a club record and position themselves among the top-earning football clubs globally.
Notably, Real Madrid currently holds the most valuable shirt sponsorship deal, generating €70 million (£60.4 million) through their partnership with Emirates.
