Jarrod Bowen is widely regarded as one of the top Premier League players beyond the prominent six clubs, drawing significant interest from both Manchester United and Liverpool.
Red Devils legend Gary Neville praised West Ham’s standout player, Jarrod Bowen, stating in December 2020, “I always think that Bowen is a bundle of energy and he’s brilliant to watch.” Fast forward three years, the English international continues to be linked with top Premier League clubs, particularly Manchester United.
With Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag urged to pursue Bowen, former Chelsea ace Andy Townsend predicted last May that West Ham might receive bids for the talented player in the summer.
Despite the endorsement from Gary Neville, Erik ten Hag overlooked the advice on acquiring Jarrod Bowen for Manchester United.
The Red Devils aren’t the sole contenders, as Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp recently fueled speculation by expressing admiration for Bowen, dubbing him his favorite non-Reds player in the league.
Klopp acknowledged West Ham’s strength under David Moyes, especially in Europe, following their 5-1 Carabao Cup win where Bowen scored the Hammers’ consolation goal.
Michail Antonio absent, Jarrod Bowen filled the void impressively. West Ham manager David Moyes expressed admiration, calling Bowen “probably my favorite player besides all my players.” Despite a challenging evening at Anfield, where Bowen’s goal stood out, he has already notched 12 goals this season.
As the January transfer window approaches, speculation around Bowen is expected to increase, especially with Manchester United visiting the London Stadium.
However, his recent seven-year deal suggests any potential move would come at a considerable cost.
