The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 15, 2024, in London.

The nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Player, acknowledging the exceptional performers in men’s football from December 19, 2022, to August 20, 2023, include (in alphabetical order): Erling Haaland (Norway / Manchester City FC), Kylian Mbappe (France / Paris Saint-Germain), and Lionel Messi (Argentina / Paris Saint-Germain / Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami).

Originally, 12 players were nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award, following selection by a panel of experts.

Similar to the process for the female nominees, an international jury, consisting of men’s national team coaches, men’s national team captains, football journalists, and fans worldwide registered on FIFA.com, has now chosen the final three contenders from this initial shortlist.

The three finalists for The Best FIFA Women’s Player, listed in alphabetical order, are Aitana Bonmati (Spain / FC Barcelona), Linda Caicedo (Colombia / Deportivo Cali Femenino / Real Madrid CF), and Jennifer Hermoso (Spain / CF Pachuca Femenil).

The award acknowledges the most exceptional performer in women’s football from August 1, 2022, to August 20, 2023, encompassing the period leading up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup final.

Initially, 16 players were nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Player award by a panel of experts. Subsequently, the three finalists were chosen from this initial list by an international jury, which includes women’s national team coaches, women’s national team captains, football journalists, and fans who participated in the voting process on FIFA’s official website.

FIFA has revealed the three contenders for the FIFA Puskás Award. The finalists, listed alphabetically, include Julio Enciso (Paraguay / Brighton & Hove Albion FC), Guilherme Madruga (Brazil / Botafogo Futebol Clube), and Nuno Santos (Portugal / Sporting CP).

Named in honor of the legendary Hungarian striker Ferenc Puskás, the award was most recently claimed by Polish Amputee footballer Marcin Oleksy for his remarkable bicycle kick.

Initially, a collection of 11 goals were nominated for the current edition of the FIFA Puskás Award. Subsequently, the three finalists were chosen from this initial list through a combination of fan votes on FIFA’s official website and input from expert panelists.

Julio Enciso earned his spot with a spectacular right-foot thunderbolt from 25 yards, Guilherme Madruga showcased his skill with an exceptional overhead kick from outside the area, and Nuno Santos secured his place in the final three with an audacious left-foot rabona.

The winners of these awards will be unveiled at a ceremony in London on Monday, January 15, 2024. This marks the third occasion that FIFA has hosted The Best FIFA Football Awards in London, following ceremonies in the city in 2017 and 2018.
