Donny van de Beek, currently sidelined at Manchester United, has surprisingly expressed interest in joining Barcelona as a potential replacement for the injured Gavi.

The club’s objective at Camp Nou is to secure the services of another midfielder to strengthen Xavi’s squad, particularly during the recovery period of the talented teenager Gavi, who is ruled out for the season due to an ACL injury.

A potential loan agreement could materialize in the winter transfer window, and as per SPORT, Donny van de Beek is willing to embrace the opportunity in Catalonia.

The Dutch midfielder, who has seen limited action at Manchester United this season with only 21 minutes of playing time in two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup and Premier League, is open to a move to Barcelona.
