Real Sociedad striker Umar Sadiq is thrilled to have regained his peak form, according to reports from Talkfooty.
Sadiq was sidelined for most of the 2022/23 season due to a cruciate ligament injury.
The 26-year-old has netted two goals in his recent two LaLiga appearances for Real Sociedad.
The Nigerian striker expressed satisfaction with his recent goal, stating that he is improving and optimistic about contributing more as the season progresses. “I feel good with my goal. I am getting better.
Last season, I was out for a long time due to injury, but this season I am improving. I know the more I play, the better I become,” Sadiq stated on his club’s website.
Sadiq shared his thoughts on Real Sociedad’s 1-1 draw against Granada, acknowledging the challenges posed by the opponent.
Despite creating numerous opportunities, the team couldn’t score more goals. Sadiq expressed pride in the team’s performance.
