Bournemouth have reportedly set a £70m price tag on Semenyo, which could be another deterrent for Mikel Arteta’s team.

Semenyo, who has been named as ‘underrated’, could be one of the players to leave Bournemouth this summer, joining Milos Kerkez, who is set for talks with Liverpool.

The Saudi Pro League are gearing up for a big summer transfer window and Antoine Semenyo is one of the players they are taking a close look at, sources have told Graeme Bailey – chief correspondent at TBR Football.

Mohammed Kudus is another target for Saudi with TBR Football reporting on Tuesday that West Ham United are ready to sell him for around £40 million.

The Pro League tried to sign Karou Mitoma in January, although the winger looks set to remain at Brighton for the time being.

Bailey told TBR Football: “The Saudi Pro League are going to have a busy summer and could raid the Premier League for a few players. There’s a good chance that Semenyo is looked at – the Saudi Pro League are looking at wingers.

“They tried for Mitoma in January, I don’t think he’ll go, but Semenyo is a player they are looking at along with Mohammed Kudus.

“Semenyo is a player that a lot of teams like, but do they love him enough to make the move when age isn’t really on his side? I could see Semenyo going, and I really wouldn’t rule him out going to Saudi.”

As an Arsenal fan, Semenyo will have been delighted to receive praise from Thierry Henry for his performance against Fulham.

The winger netted the only goal of the game as the Cherries won 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium and Henry told Semenyo: “You were cooking!”

The 25-year-old’s goal against the West London club was his 12th Premier League goal contribution of the season, which is not a bad return for a wide forward.
