Liverpool might have had a quiet summer in the transfer window but that doesn’t mean they’ve not got eyes on potential signings for the future.

Arne Slot saw his side fail to bring in many players and a deal to bring Martin Zubimendi to Liverpool was one of the high profile moves not to go through.

In the end, Liverpool did sign Federico Chiesa and the Italian has already established himself in the first-team squad.

However, with the January window soon to be upon us before we’ve even thought about it, Liverpool are now eyeing more new recruits.

And according to TeamTalk, one of those players on the radar is Bournemouth defender, Milos Kerkez.

Liverpool are watching Milos Kerkez

According to the report from TeamTalk, Liverpool are one of the teams who really fancy the idea of signing Kerkez.

It’s reported how the likes of Chelsea and Man United have shown interest in the past but it is Liverpool who feel they could be the team to get the job done.

Of course, we reported on TBR back in February how Chelsea were among the teams really keen on signing Kerkez but in the end, they went for other targets.

Lauded by Marco Rossi, Kerkez has done well at Bournemouth ever since his arrival.

“In a good sense, Milos is a particularly aggressive and fast player, so I don’t think he’ll have any problems with the style of play typical of the Premier League. The English Premier League has a much more physical style than that of the Dutch, but this won’t cause him any problems,” Rossi has said.

Kerkez is a left-back by trade but is more than comfortable getting forward as a wing-back as welll.

With Andy Robertson now into his 30s, Liverpool will have eyes on a long-term replacement and the 20-year-old Kerkez will standout.

Bournemouth are thought to value the defender at least the £42m mark.
