Moha Ramos Ex-Real Madrid goalkeeper to spend two nights in cells after being arrested
Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Moha Ramos has been detained by the Civil Police in Lanzarote, ahead of a match he was due to play with Tenerife B against Union Sur Yaiza in a preseason friendly.

The 24-year-old had a previous outstanding legal matter from the summer of 2023, report Cadena Cope Tenerife (via MD), although no details have been given on what that matter is. Despite Tenerife’s best efforts to secure his release, it looks as if he will spend Saturday and Sunday night in the cells, as he awaits processing on Monday.

Ramos was considered a top talent in Real Madrid’s academy coming through, and was involved in Zinedine Zidane’s first-team training sessions for some time at the age of just 17. He was even nicknamed ‘Dida’ by Marcelo Viera, but after exiting Los Blancos in 2021, his career took him to Birmingham City, Real Union de Irun, Rayo Cantabria, Aviles y Las Palmas Atletico, before returning to his native Tenerife a decade after leaving to join Real Madrid.

In his farewell Instagram post, he lamented not being able to ‘show from inside my home, as it has been since 14 years of age, that people can change and mature, independent of the mistakes they might have made during the process.’
