RB Leipzig are bracing themselves for a transfer bid for Dani Olmo as Barcelona increase their interest.

The Spanish international has been heavily linked with an exit from the Bundesliga side after a superb showing at Euro 2024.

As Spain lifted their first European title since 2012. Olmo won a shared Golden Boot award in Germany, after netting three goals in the competition.

With his €60m release clause now expired, the ball is back in RB Leipzig’s court, and they can demand an increased fee.

As per the latest update from Marca, Barcelona sporting director Deco has met with Olmo’s agents Juanma Lopez and Andy Bara, with an update expected soon.

Barcelona’s only realistic hope of securing a deal lies in a structured agreement, with a reduced up front fee, and a string of clauses stretched across a long contract.

Olmo has admitted he could leave Leipzig this summer with interest in him across Europe’s major clubs.
