Serie A side Juventus contemplate adding players to smoothen the deal with Nice for Jean-Clair Todibo.
According to a report by Giovanni Albanese of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are looking to land the signature of Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo. The Bianconeri expect to lower the Ligue 1 club’s asking price through the inclusion of players in the deal.
Nice value the 24-year-old in the region of €35-40 million and Juventus are convinced that the French side will not move from their position. Therefore, the Serie A giants are now considering adding young players Tarik Muharemovic and Joseph Nonge Boende to lower the transfer fee.
Juventus are hoping to process the negotiations in the same way they did with Aston Villa for Douglas Luiz by offloading Samuel iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea.
Todibo is seen as a potentially valuable investment in the Juventus scout department as the player can yield long-term dividends through his performances and has a high resellable worth.
