Premier League side Nottingham Forest are nearing a move to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic this summer.

The English side were linked with the Serbian some days ago and it seems as if the move is close. FirenzeViola have reported that Milenkovic’s time in Florence is now nearing an end, after being previously linked with West Ham and then ending up staying.

Contacts between all the parties have intensified recently and they are progressing in the right direction, with the player deciding whether to accept the destination or not. These are key hours in the move, with the player convinced that he needs a change of air.

Fiorentina have already decided to go ahead with signing the player’s replacement, with Nicola Valentini arriving from Boca Juniors. This will lead to Fiorentina cutting down on wages, with Forest now said to be a favourite to sign Milenkovic and there is a feeling at Fiorentina too that his journey at the club has ended.
