Adrien Rabiot is a free-agent after the former Juventus midfielder’s contract expired on June 30. The French international has been linked with a move to Napoli, but latest reports indicate that this is not the case.

According to calcionapoli24.it, the 29-year-old, who will miss his country’s Euro 2024 quarter-final clash with Spain on Friday due to suspension, is not on the Partenopei’s shortlist as a possible summer transfer target.

The portal also claims that no contact has been made with either the player or any of his entourage, despite recent reports stating otherwise.

Rabiot recently told journalists that he will not be making any decision on his future until after the European Championships, claiming that he was only focusing on trying to help France claim the trophy they last won in 2000.

Juventus maintain that they offered a contract extension worth €8M a season before the player departed for Germany, but that they never received an answer.
