Atletico Madrid are set to revamp their forward options this summer, with Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay and Angel Correa all having been linked with moves away. On top of this, Giuliano Simeone – son of head coach Diego – will also have a deal organised for him.
Giuliano spent last season with Alaves, although he only made his debut for the Vitoria-based side in January, following a serious injury in pre-season. In total, he scored one goal across 16 matches, but his overall play impressed club officials, who want to re-sign him for the 2024-25 campaign, as per Marca.
Atleti will organise another loan for Giuliano, and they will have several clubs to choose from. On top of Alaves, there is also interest from Getafe, Las Palmas Real Betis, Valencia and Leganes, who can secure promotion to La Liga this weekend.
Atletico Madrid want Giuliano to continue developing before a first team place is organised for him. He will look to continue impressing next season, wherever he ends up.
