Arsenal legend Gilberto Silva has been pictured with one of Mikel Arteta’s key transfer targets for this summer.
The Gunners are expected to make some big moves in the upcoming transfer window. They need reinforcements to catch Manchester City, and they have been linked with some excellent players.
One of them has now been spotted with an Arsenal Invincible, Gilberto.

Arsenal are expected to sign at least one new midfielder this summer.
Mohamed Elneny will leave the Gunners in July, while Thomas Partey and Albert Sambi Lokonga could be sold in the coming months.
If that happens, Arsenal will be left with just Jorginho and Declan Rice in midfield, which is simply not enough for a whole season.
A new midfielder is an absolute necessity, and among all the names linked with a move to the Emirates is Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes.
The Brazil international has a £100 million release clause in his deal (Guardian), and reports have claimed that Arsenal think they can get him for less than that fee.
TBR Football exclusively revealed in April that Arsenal are ready to move for the Brazilian if they get any indication that he wants to leave.
On Tuesday, Guimaraes and Arsenal legend Gilberto posted pictures together on Instagram.
The latter interviewed the Newcastle United star for ESPN Brazil, and Arsenal fans have since been hoping that their Invincible would’ve put in a good word to Guimaraes about a summer move to the Emirates.
After Gilberto posted a few snaps with him on Instagram, Guimaraes commented: “Fenômeno!”

What Newcastle United have told Bruno Guimaraes about summer transfer
Guimaraes is one of Newcastle’s best players.
The Brazilian has been at St James’ Park for two-and-a-half years, and he is a fan favourite there. He has performed brilliantly and the Magpies are desperate to keep hold of him as a result.
TBR Football exclusively revealed in May that Newcastle have confirmed to Guimaraes’ representatives that he won’t be sold this summer – the only way he could leave is if someone triggers his release clause.
Arsenal are keen to sign Guimaraes, but they are not willing to meet that £100 million figure. That clause, in any case, expires on the 30th of June.
The next few weeks will be very interesting for Guimaraes, Newcastle and all the clubs interested in him.
