Cedric Soares has been full of praise for one fringe Arsenal player.

Speaking on the 1 Para 1 Podcast, Cedric has been speaking about Fabio Vieira, and he has hailed the £35m player for how hard he’s working behind the scenes.

According to Cedric, Vieira is one of the best people he’s ever met, claiming that he’s a quality player.

Cedric also notes that Vieira is working so hard in training, noting that the outside world don’t quite realise how hard he is working behind the scenes.

Cedric stated that his teammate is working incredibly hard at the moment, stating that nobody sees just how much work he is putting in.

“Fabio is one of the best people I’ve ever met. He’s excellent and he has incredible quality. We are very close, I respect him a lot and he listens to me a lot too,’ Cedric said.

“He’s also very intelligent so I know I’ve helped his adaptation the best I can, giving him my experiences. Fabio has worked incredibly hard in training, people don’t see training, but that is also important.”

Cedric says that people don’t know how hard Vieira is working in training, but make no mistake about it, Mikel Arteta will be taking note.

The Spaniard will see the effort that Vieira is putting into training every single day, and, ultimately, that should help Vieira’s chances of getting more first-team football.

The midfielder hasn’t featured as much as he would perhaps like to this season, but with the right level of attitude and application behind the scenes, he could easily force his way into Mikel Arteta’s starting XI.

It sounds as though Vieira is doing the right things at Arsenal, and hopefully, this hard work starts paying off next season.
