Eden Hazard has claimed that Arsenal have a player who’s even better than Eden Hazard.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Hazard was asked who he believes are the best players from a number of countries ahead of Euro 2024.

Hazard picked a number of the usual suspects, but he made an interesting call when it came to picking out Norway’s best player.

Indeed, according to Hazard, Martin Odegaard is the best player Norway have ahead of Erling Haaland.

Hazard spoke about Odegaard, claiming that he’s even better than Haaland.

“Who is the best player from Norway?” Hazard was asked.

“Odegaard?” Hazard said,

“Odegaard? No Haaland?” The host asked.

“No, I’ll say Odegaard because I’ve played with him,” Hazard said.

Haaland and Odegaard are two completely different players, but it has to be said that they’re two of the best players in the Premier League.

Of course, comparing these two is like comparing apples and oranges.

Haaland is perhaps the most physically dominating footballer on the planet, he’s stronger, faster and taller than almost anyone he ever plays against.

Meanwhile, Odegaard is much more cerebral. He’s a player who doesn’t have the greatest physical gifts, but his remarkable technical ability and vision make him perhaps one of the best players in the world right now.

Both players are perfect fits for their current squads, and while there are arguments to make about which player is better, Arsenal probably wouldn’t swap the £30m man for anyone and the same goes for Man City and Haaland.

Norway, somehow, have failed to qualify for Euro 2024, but with Odegaard and Haaland set to hit their peaks in the coming years, the Scandinavian outfit should be set to hit new heights in the coming years.

The two Norwegians are two of the best players in the world, that’s for sure.
