Manchester United put up a superb display to beat Manchester City 2-1 in the final of the FA Cup at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Erik Ten Hag’s side scored twice in the first half with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

Garnacho capitalised on a mix-up between Stefan Ortega and Josko Gvardiol to fire into an empty net on the half hour mark.

Mainoo added the second nine minutes later finishing a superb team move.

City fought back in the second half and ensured a nervy ending when Onana’s weak save on 87 minutes could not keep out Jérémy Doku’s shot at his near post.

However, United held on and sealed a memorable victory.
