‘I don’t see’: Martin Keown now predicts how Manchester United will do against Man City today

It’s Manchester United v Manchester City in the FA Cup final today and Martin Keown has offered up his prediction on the game.
United go to Wembley knowing they are big outsiders to usurp City, who come into the game off the back of being Premier League champions again.
In another sub-plot, there are rumours that Erik ten Hag will be replaced after reports broke yesterday to suggest he was losing his job regardless of the result.

Other reports earlier in the day suggested otherwise, with different journalists suggesting no decision would be made until after the game.
Regardless of that, Ten Hag knows he has a big game to win. And winning the cup against your cross-city rivals would be quite the way to end the season.
However, predicting the result on TalkSPORT, former FA Cup winner Martin Keown has suggested that United simply have no chance.

Martin Keown predicts a tough day for Manchester United in the FA Cup final
Speaking about the result on TalkSPORT yesterday, ex-Arsenal man Keown gave a blunt verdict on United when decided how the game would go.
“I don’t see them (Manchester United) winning it,” Keown said.
“29 points behind in the Premier League behind City. City, what, 91 goals, what have they have, conceded 58 of their own, Manchester United. There’s a massive gulf between these two clubs right now.”
United have to keep City at bay
It sounds so strange to even be suggesting it given the size of Manchester United but they’re almost going to have to treat this game like a Championship side might.
That means keeping City at bay for as long as possible and then simply trying to stay in the game and then trying to nick a goal if possible.
Of course, that is easier said than done. City are a juggernaut and they’ll fancy their chances massively against an injury ravaged United side.
If City do start well and get an early goal, then United could crumble and it could well be a long old day at Wembley for Ten Hag’s side.
