Simon Jordan has just predicted where Arsenal will finish in the Premier League next season.

Arsenal just missed out on the Premier League title last term, finishing two points behind Manchester City, who won it for a record fourth time in a row.

Naturally, The Gunners were bitterly disappointed but there was a different feel around the Emirates to the previous year.

Mikel Arteta’s men showed a newfound grit and a steely mentality to take The Citizens all the way to the wire.

Now, Jordan has predicted where they will finish next season.

Simon Jordan predicts Arsenal to win the Premier League next season

Speaking on the Three Up Front podcast, Jordan admitted that he thinks Arsenal will surpass City next year and go on to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.

“I think that Arsenal will win the league next year,” the 56-year-old said.

That seems to be the consensus among many, as there is a genuine feeling Arsenal are very close to toppling Pep Guardiola’s side.

Further, with a few additions in the summer transfer window, namely a centre-forward, they’ll be well-placed to finally win gold.

Arsenal need a top-level striker

The missing part of the puzzle for Arsenal appears to be a top-level striker, as they’re without one at the moment.

Whilst Kai Havertz has played well in the number nine role, it’s clear he just isn’t going to get in excess of 30 goals.

Neither will Gabriel Jesus, so Edu should consider going all out for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak – his addition would certainly bridge the gap with Manchester City.

A telling window awaits.
