The agent of a highly-rated ‘wonderkid’ has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal this summer transfer window.
It seems Mikel Arteta and his chiefs are wasting no time in identifying targets to strengthen their squad to go one better next season.
After missing out on the Premier League title to Manchester City, they’ve got little room for error in the window and must make every addition count.
That said, the agent of a target has just responded to Arsenal rumours.

Yaser Asprilla’s agent responds to Arsenal rumours
Watford’s ‘wonderkid’ Yaser Asprilla has enjoyed a marvellous season in the Championship, netting six goals whilst laying on eight assists for the Championship outfit.
Such form has seen him linked to The Gunners, Leicester and even Barcelona, though, his agent has come out and rubbished rumours of a move to North London.
Speaking to Caracol Radio, Jonathan Restrepo said: “No one has contacted from Leicester. There is interest from other Premier clubs and other European countries.
“Arsenal have never asked me a question. These are things that the media is putting out.”

Yaser Asprilla’s agent hints at Watford exit
Whilst Asprilla’s agent denied Arsenal rumours, he did admit that they are looking at potential suitors away from Vicarage Road.
“We are looking, because the market has just opened and we are going to see what is best for the boy, a good project where he can continue to have continuity and now it will be focused on whether he will be called up to the national team or not, but he has a contract and we will continue to see what is best for him,” Restrepo said.
If Arsenal are to land his signature, they’d getting a very exciting 20-year-old, who has a wand of a left foot.
