‘I prefer Arsenal’: £34m striker who’s ‘better than Haaland’ now urged to join Mikel Arteta this summer

A striker who has been dubbed ‘better than Erling Haaland’ has been urged to join Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners looks set for a busy summer transfer window after missing out on the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta’s side barely put a foot wrong during the run-in, taking maximum points from all but two games in 2024.
But such is the force of Manchester City at the moment, improvements will have to be made if Arsenal are to go one better next season.
Despite Kai Havertz’s brilliant run of nine goals in his last 14 Premier League games, Arteta is expected to bolster his options up front this summer.
A host of players have already been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, including Alexander Isak, Brian Brobbey and Joshua Zirkzee.
Now, former Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer ha urged the latter to join Arsenal.

Frank de Boer favours Arsenal move for Joshua Zirkzee
Speaking to Calciomercato, De Boer was asked where he’d like to see Bologna’s Zirkzee end up this summer.
“I have great respect for Arsenal, they have patience, for example, they had it with Arteta who didn’t start well,” he said. “In some clubs like this you are already out. And he’s played very well in the last two years, Inter are also playing well.
“If I have to say someone, I prefer Arsenal, because they have the patience to wait for them and trust them.”

Zirkzee in demand amid Arsenal interest
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Zirkzee, who also sent a message to Jurrien Timber after is compatriot’s return to first-team action against Everton.
But the striker, dubbed as ‘better than Erling Haaland’ is also attracting interest from Juventus
Zirkzee has netted 12 times in 37 appearances for Bologna this season, while also registering seven assists.
He’s said to have a £34 million release clause in his contract with the Serie A outfit, which could appeal to the likes of Arsenal.
