It has just come to light, that a Tottenham Hotspur target has not been offered a new contract at his current club.
Ange Postecoglou’s men are preparing to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on the final day of the Premier League season.
But behind the scenes, club chiefs will already be plotting their summer targets ahead of the fast-approaching transfer window.
That said, they’ve just been given a huge boost in their pursuit of a £50m-rated player.

Conor Gallagher not offered new Chelsea contract
Remarkably, despite a stellar season for Conor Gallagher, he’s not been offered a new contract by Chelsea, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
“My latest understanding is that there’s still no conversation between Chelsea and Gallagher over a new deal, so it’s up to the club to decide what they want to do,” Romano said.
“There’s interest from several clubs but I’m not hearing about anything being close or concrete now, the usual interest from many clubs, including Tottenham, is there, but there’s nothing new in terms of negotiations.”
Gallagher has one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge and this summer, as it stands, will be the last chance to cash in on him before he becomes a free agent next year.

Bizarre from Chelsea
It’s a pretty bizarre play from the Chelsea board, as Gallagher has really stepped up this season as one of the standout performers for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The £50m-rated midfielder has captained the club on several occasions, though, it seems he’ll be moving on.
Chelsea’s loss could be Spurs’ gain.
