Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has revealed that he will know more about his future after the end of the Europa League final.

Gasperini has been linked with a move to Napoli in recent days and rumours suggest that talks have already been held between the two parties. With La Dea having qualified for the Champions League already, Atalanta also have a huge Europa League final coming up next week.

After the win over Lecce today, Gasperini spoke to Sky about his future amidst links with Napoli and he revealed that things will be decided once the Europa League final ends and he will make a decision after that.

He said (via TMW): “We play this Wednesday, then we’ll see. For me the difference is the challenge, how credible you are in your choices and evaluations, but above all the challenge. The Champions League qualification is extraordinary, but for me the challenge is increasingly important, we will understand everything after the final.”

A loss in the Europa League final would not mean that Atalanta don’t qualify for the Champions League because of their position in the league and their position takes off some burden from their shoulders. But Gasperini definitely has a decision to make.
