It has just come to light, that a Tottenham Hotspur target said he’ll leave his current club if a ‘good chance comes’.

After missing out on a top-four finish, Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to make further additions in the fast-approaching summer transfer window.

Despite failing to qualify for Champions League football, they will be plying their trade in the Europa League next term.

So with that said, Postecoglou will need much more squad depth to be able to compete across four competitions, so it could be a very busy window for the North Londoners.

One ‘world-class’ target they have been linked with has just admitted he’d be willing to leave his club this summer.

Tottenham are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who looks set to become a free agent this summer.

Ndidi is out of contract at the end of June and in a recent interview, it was pretty evident that he’d be willing to depart the newly-promoted side.

“If a good chance comes, I won’t mind trying my luck elsewhere but for now I remain a Leicester City player,” the 27-year-old said.

The Nigeria international is subjected to interest from other clubs in the Premier League, too, with Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Wolves and Brighton all mooted with moves.

Ndidi has enjoyed a productive season in the Championship under Enzo Maresca, who has completely redefined him in a new position.

Having operated as a number six, and even as a centre-back, throughout his career, the Foxes midfielder has operated in an attacking role, as more of a box-to-box.

As such, Ndidi has massively improved his attacking output, netting six times whilst laying on as many assists across 36 appearances.

Further, according to FBref, he ranks in the top four per cent for attacking passes received per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe, evincing his ability to find space in pockets.

So, all things considered, he’d be a smart addition for Tottenham.
