Barcelona have very few players that they will not consider offers for this summer, and one of their best performers has been Andreas Christensen. The Danish international was key in their title win last season, and his move into midfield was part of the best spell in Barcelona’s season this campaign too.

According to MD, Barcelona have become aware that multiple ‘top European clubs’ are interested in Christensen this summer, although there is no talk of an offer yet. Christensen has demonstrated his ability in both midfield and defence. This summer he could increase his cachet with a good performance at the Euros too.

Recent reports had stated that Barcelona were not keen on selling him due to his place in the team and versatility, but if a strong offer comes in, they will find it very hard to reject it, bearing in mind his arrival on a free would mean any fee counts as pure profit in their accounts. The player himself is happy in Catalonia, but Newcastle United have reportedly expressed an interest in him.
