Manchester United and Arsenal will contest a huge Premier League game at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils have endured a pretty difficult season, though a Europa League place is still up for grabs via their league finish or by winning the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s Gunners absolutely need to win in Manchester if they want to maintain their title hopes going into the final day of the campaign.

With Manchester City almost unstoppable at present, Arsenal will be aware that the reigning champions will be heavy favourites in their final three fixtures.

You’ve also got bragging rights at stake between two huge clubs that contested some absolutely epic title battles in the 1990s and 2000s.

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour is aware that “form does go out the window in certain games” as he predicted who will triumph at Old Trafford.

Who does Ray Parlour will think will win between Manchester United and Arsenal?

The Highbury legend is confident that the Gunners will win against Erik ten Hag’s side, but he revised the scoreline to a fairly close 2-1, and also backed Kai Havertz to score.

“Well, after the performance against Palace, they (Man United) have got to bounce back,” Parlour said on talkSPORT (10/5/2024, 7:45am) .

“There is a big rivalry between both clubs, we know that, and form does go out of the window in certain games.

“The form that Arsenal are in at the moment, they know that they have got to win every single game.

“Man City can get the job done before they play, so they will probably put the pressure on to Arsenal again, but you have got to expect an Arsenal win the way they are playing.

“I did have 3-1 down for Arsenal, but I will change that to, let’s go 4-1 now, and, let’s go 2-1, let’s go 2-1, and I will go, I think Havertz will get one.”

Arsenal heavy favourites at Manchester United but anything can happen

The Gunners will certainly fancy their chances of winning at Manchester United as they’re in great form and overall much stronger than their former title rivals.

However, the Red Devils will know that Arsenal will be under huge pressure and will likely seek to frustrate them and make them nervous.

I still think the Gunners will win (let’s go with 3-1) but I can’t imagine it’ll be particularly one-sided.
