David Seaman has made his Premier League title prediction after both Arsenal and Manchester City won yet again at the weekend.

It is certainly looking increasingly likely that the Premier League title race will go down to the final day of the campaign, with just one point separating the top two right now.

It is Arsenal who currently lead the way, with the Gunners winning their last four league games and keeping three clean sheets along the way. Certainly, there is not going to be any repeat of last year when Arsenal wobbled as the finishing line started to emerge in sight.

But Manchester City have the advantage in that they have a game in hand. Should Pep Guardiola’s men win their last three games, they will be the first team in English football to win the top league four years in a row.

Arsenal’s superior goal difference does add an interesting layer to the drama. But speaking on Seaman Says, David Seaman admitted that he just cannot see City dropping a point in their remaining games.

“No [can’t see it going down to goal difference], if I’m honest. I can’t see Man City not winning every game, that’s my only problem,” he said.

“The only hard game that I see that they’ve got is Spurs away, and the form that Spurs are in at the moment is like Man United.”

Pep Guardiola’s machine is flying again

It is definitely ominous for Arsenal that Manchester City appear to have found another gear again, having not lost a game in any competition in five months now.

The only teams to prevent City winning since mid-February meanwhile, have been Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid. And of course, Pep Guardiola’s men do not have any of those sides left to play this season.

Gary Neville expressed a concern that the title race may be over before the final day. And that is definitely possible, with Arsenal facing Manchester United at the weekend after City have played against Fulham.

If City go to Craven Cottage and win, the pressure will definitely be on the Gunners to ensure that they respond.

But Seaman is clearly concerned that what Arsenal do will not actually matter a great deal at this stage.
