Maduka Okoye has arrived the Super Eagles camp ahead of the Group C 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
Okoye’s arrival was confirmed by Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, on Wednesday night.
This means all the 23 players invited for the qualifiers are now in the team’s Uyo camp.
The Eagles will take on South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on matchday 3 of the qualifiers on Friday, 7 June inside the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

On Monday, 10 June, the team will travel to Côte d’Ivoire to face Benin Republic on matchday 4.
The Eagles trained inside the main bowl of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Wednesday and will train again at 6.30pm on Thursday.
Journalists will be allowed to take pictures and shots for 15 minutes only at the start of the exercise and no interviews will be allowed.
The South Africans will train inside the main bowl at 8pm.
